About the IISS Cyber Report

This weekly digest captures significant cyber threats and ICT-related policy developments, providing a vital tool for policymakers and academics working in the field. It sorts the vast number of cyber incidents that are reported on a daily basis and tracks the fast-moving and contentious policy environment within which they occur. As well as documenting cyber threats to national security – including cyber-enabled attacks against critical national infrastructure – this briefing will chart the development of national law, military doctrine and international policy that is relevant to the cyber domain. It will also highlight events related to human rights online, which have become a central battleground in this area.

Future Conflict and Cyber Security

This research programme examines how future conflict will be affected by developments in ICT, such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
