Bahrain: A new security architecture has been proposed by a think tank to counter growing threats of Iranian missiles in the region.

The integrated GCC Missile Defence System will involve massive military co-operation to purchase defence equipment and knit together radars and sensors including an early warning network with US assistance. This was highlighted in a new report called “Missile-Defence Co-operation in the Gulf”, which was released by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) during a meeting held last night at its Middle East office located in GB Corp Tower, Bahrain Financial Harbour.
