On Thursday 5 November Igor Yurgens, The Chairman of the Russian Institute of Contemporary Development spoke on “Resetting” US-Russian Relations from 12.30-2pm.
Igor Yurgens is a prominent Russian thinker and businessman and one of the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's closest economic advisers. He is a member of the Public Chamber of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Expert Council on Priority National Projects and Demographic Policy, First Vice President of Renaissance Group, Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs. Mr. Yurgens graduated from the Moscow State University. He has a PhD in Economics and is a professor at the Higher School of Economics.
The meeting was chaired by Oksana Antonenko, IISS Senior Fellow for Russia and Eurasia and it took place in the Virginia Wolf Conference Room at The Bonnington Rooms.
