David Cameron has said that Britain's shared history with India will help forge a new special relationship.
Dr Robert Bradnock, of King's College London, and Rahul Roy-Chaudhury, senior fellow for South Asia at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, examine whether Britain's colonial past with India will help or hinder with future relations.
