New Delhi, July 8 (PTI): Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP, Venkaiah Naidu, will undertake a week-long visit to the UK beginning tomorrow, during which he will hold discussions with British policy-makers and Parliamentarians.
Naidu, who is also vice-president of the India-United Kingdom Parliamentary Friendship group, will exchange views on India's emergence as a key global player besides watching the proceedings of both the Houses of Parliament.
He will participate in discussions at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the BBC.
Naidu will visit Meagre Farm and Wood Farm at Huntingdon to study agricultural and allied issues and hold discussions with the National Farmers Union.
He is visiting the country at the invitation of the British government. He will also interact with the agriculture and rural development experts at Department of Food, Environment and Rural Affairs.
