SOME of the world's top defence, security and anti-terrorism chiefs are attending this year's Manama Dialogue, it has been revealed.
At the top of that list are US Secretary of Defence Robert Gates, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Admiral Michael Mullen and US Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Admiral William Mullen.
The British delegation includes Minister of State for the Armed Forces Bob Ainsworth and Maritime Component Commander and Deputy Commander of Coalition Naval Forces in the Gulf Commodore Keith Winstanley.
GCC Secretary-General Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Saudi Arabia's General Intelligence deputy chief Prince Faisal bin Abdullah Al Saud and Iraqi Vice-President Tareq Al Hashemi and national security adviser Mowaffak Al Rubaie will be the key regional representatives.

Crown Prince and BDF Commander-in-Chief Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the King's ADC Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa are leading a delegation of 20 government officials.
They include Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, who arrived to attend the forum, was welcomed at the airport by the Shaikh Khalid.
