London-based International Institute of Strategic Studies issued a report in which it stated that the dangers of extremism are getting more and more dangerous since Al Qaeda succeeded to resist and to accommodate as well as it succeeded to protect essential factors in its attacking capability among which assuring a refuge to the leaders of its operations and to its high Leaderships in the tribal Pakistani regions.
Jonathan Evans, director-general of MI5, Britain's security service uttered that the situation is very bad since the extremists recruit youth who live in fragile conditions and children below 15 or 16 years old. According to Evans the number of extremists surpassed 2000 this year while it was 1600 last year. He also warned that it is possible that there are a similar additional number of extremists but that wasn’t revealed.
Meanwhile, Former Chief of Ben Laden Unit in the CIA Michael Shower said that Al Qaeda Organization danger appears thru dismantling cells thereof in Spain, Italy, Germany and Denmark. These networks use violence as a mean to halt the countries who participate in the comprehensive US-led war against terrorism from carrying on the things their doing, especially the countries that participate in the military action against Iraq and Afghanistan.
According to shower, violence acts in Afghanistan scored a record during the current year since approximately 150 suicide bombing operation took place. Moreover, Osama Ben Laden is still challenging the US and its allies while experts think that he is hiding in the tribal regions on the Pakistani-Afghani borders.
Experts deem that Al Qaeda will stay a double faced danger in the years to come. The first is that of the ancient network members who still have relations and means to move in spite of being chased. The second is the new recruited members who tend to extremism and that because of internet websites and which cannot be known until they decide to take action.
