December 10th - - Kuwait Times - Manama Dialogue an Ideal platform: Kuwaiti envoy

Manama Dialogue 2007
The Manama Dialogue forum offers an opportunity to exchange views on vital security issues, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said yesterday. The ambassador said the forum which groups a number of officials, GCC and international figures, greatly contributes in efforts for reaching a unified formula and a common basis for tackling regional security issues.

Sheikh Azzam hoped the forum would lead to finding a joint formula, backed by all concerned bodies, to establish security and stability in the Gulf.

The 4th Manama Dialogue Forum is annually organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies. It is the largest gathering of Gulf national security chiefs. The two-day event is an opportunity for the conferees to share views and visions on security challenges facing the Gulf region, as well as drawing up mechanisms for successful cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels.
