Bahrain is constantly seeking strong ties with Iran, Crown Prince and BDF Commander-in-Chief Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said last night.
President Mahmoud Ahmad-inejad's visit to Bahrain was aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties, he said on the sidelines of the conference.
"We wish that they would have participated in the conference," the Crown Prince pointed out.

Bahrain seeks to build relations with all countries in the region that can respect other's point of view to secure the welfare of all, he said in response to a question whether Israel was a threat to the region due to its nuclear weapons.
