Road blocks will be set up at four locations from 11pm tonight until 8am on Monday.
The roads will remain open to traffic but police will conduct random checks on vehicles.
Motorists are advised to avoid Orange Grove Road, Anderson Road and Draycott Park as traffic congestion is expected.
Those proceeding to Stevens Road from Tanglin Road, or from Stevens Road and Balmoral Road to Orchard Road, are advised to use alternative routes via Scotts Road.
Visitors to the hotel are advised to car-pool or use public transport as limited parking will be available only at the Garden Wing.
All vehicles entering the hotel will be checked and Traffic Police will also take enforcement action against vehicles parked illegally along the affected roads.
All visitors to the hotel will also be subjected to checks.
All hotel facilities, except the areas used for the conference, will remain accessible.
