MANAMA: Sectarianism is fuelling violence which could spread across the Gulf if it is not stamped out, Bahrain warned yesterday.
 
"The sectarian violence in Iraq and the fuel it provides to hatred, extremism and terrorism in the region and beyond must be halted as a matter of the outmost urgency," said Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
