Prior to the official visit, Mr Zainul also attended the 3rd IISS Regional Security Summit in Manama from 8-10 December 2006.
Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zainul Abidin Rasheed, will make a 2-day official visit to Bahrain from Monday.
His visit to Bahrain's capital, Manama, is at the invitation of Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmad Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa.
During the visit, Mr Zainul is expected to call on Bahrain dignitaries, including the country's Crown Prince.
He will also meet Singaporeans working and living there and attend the official launch of Bahrain Bay, a new development project involving CapitaLand and a local partner.
