MANAMA, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- The second conference on Gulf security dialogue continued its activities on Saturday with closed sessions focusing on terrorism and battling it.

In a press statement, Chairman of Kuwait's National Security Apparatus Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said eliminating terrorism is a priority for all Gulf nations, as well as all world countries, adding that not a single nation is safe from terrorism.

Today's sessions discussed matters on international and security ties of GCC nations, regional security and the US, the nature of regional security challenges and prospects of Iraq's situation.

The conference's participants were split into three discussion groups, the first for maritime security, the second for regional defense strategies ad the third for securing energy resources.
