Administrator to the Director of Finance & Technology and Human Resources Manager
Main Responsibilities: Acting as the principal point of contact to the Director of Finance & Technology and carrying out Human Resource duties.
This includes management support in areas of Human Resources, Company Secretary, Finance, and Information Technology. Additional duties include, logistic and materials’ preparation support for meetings associated with the Institute’s governing bodies (Advisory Council and Trustees) and Annual General Meeting. Assistance with all administration relating to basic companies and charities compliance and activities relating to the trading company, Arundel House Enterprises Ltd.
Background: Lorna Williams began her early years working for a UK national security firm, gaining experience in various administrative areas including Human Resources and Sales & Marketing. In 1985 she diversified and moved to a publishing company where, as circulation Manager, she was responsible for the day to day running of a department with thirteen staff.
In 1991 Lorna moved to Luxembourg and spent the next ten years working in a variety of organisations including the British Chamber of Commerce, a recruitment consultancy firm, as well as editing and publishing a monthly newsletter for the British Ladies Club. For the last five years of the posting Lorna worked for an Asset Management company, in the Share Registration Dept.
Returning to the UK in 2001, Lorna joined an international bank, working at all levels within the organisation including embassy banking, private banking clientele, Board Members, Senior Executives and all levels of staff.
