Maj-Gen Muhammed Anwar Khan (retd) at the IISS On 30 September 2005, the IISS hosted a Special Round Table Discussion with Major General (retd) Muhammed Anwar Khan, President, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad. Major General Khan gave a presentation on ‘Prospects for Kashmir'.   • Major General Shaukat Sultan On 8 July 2005, the IISS hosted a Special Round Table Discussion with Major General Shaukat Sultan, Press Secretary to President Pervez Musharraf, and Director General, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan. Major General Sultan gave a presentation on 'The Current Phase of the War on Terror'. The Round Table Discussion was chaired by Sir Hilary Synnott, IISS Senior Consulting Fellow.
  • Vice Admiral Madanjit Singh SA Programme Singh RTD 4 July 2005On 4 July 2005, the IISS hosted a Special Round Table Discussion with Vice Admiral Madanjit Singh, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Western Naval Command, Indian Navy. Vice Admiral Singh spoke on 'Trends in Asia's Maritime Security Environment: Implications for the Indian Navy'. The Round Table Discussion was chaired by Mr Alex Nicoll, Director of Defence Analysis and Publications; Senior Fellow for Defence Industry and Procurement.
