Corporate Patron Membership

This category is intended for leading global companies and institutions, who seek the closest relationship with the IISS and the visibility of such an association. This level of corporate membership is geared towards global players seeking to network on the highest level with government, business leaders and other global corporations. Corporate Patron Membership offers exclusive access to the IISS through priority invitations to major IISS international events. To stay on top of international developments an exclusive access to private briefings and to the Corporate Advisory Panel has been designed. This service taps into the very heart of the expertise of the IISS membership and staff to allow Corporate Patron Members to discuss and receive personalised and private briefings on security, foreign policy, political, economic, commercial and technological issues.

The annual £50,000 fee entitles Corporate Patron Members to:

  • nominate up to five representatives to the IISS;
  • receive up to five sets per year of the following Institute publications: The Military Balance, Strategic Survey, Survival, Strategic Comments and the Adelphi Books series. Each set of IISS publications has an annual cover price value of approximately £700/$1,200;
  • ten staff licenses to use the IISS Armed Conflict Database, a unique, interactive resource of detailed material on more than 70 conflicts around the world;
  • receive invitations to IISS meetings, seminars, and the Global Strategic Review (delegate fees not included);
