OLIVIER DEBOUZY, born Paris, France, 1960.
 
Education: Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Diploma, summa cum laude, 1981), Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) (Promotion Léonard-de-Vinci, 1985). 
 
Career:  From 1985 to 1991, Olivier Debouzy was a member of the French Diplomatic Service, where he held various posts in connection with nuclear military affairs and strategy, first in the Directorate for Political Affairs (1985-1988), then, after a secondment to the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London (1988-1989), as Diplomatic Advisor to the Director of Military Affairs of the French Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique (1989-1991) and as an expert with the nuclear working group of the Defence White Paper Commission (1992-1993). 
 
In 1993, Olivier Debouzy became an attorney.  In 1995 his partner Gilles August and he created their own firm, August & Debouzy, which now includes over 90 lawyers and ranks among the 10 top French law firms in 2005.  August & Debouzy is a full-service, general business law firm.  It has a best-friends relationship with US (King & Spalding, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges, Holland & Hart, Jenner & Bock, Goodwin Procter, Amstrong Teasdale, Thompson Hine, Miller Canfield), Canadian (Davies Ward Philips & Vineberg), Dutch (Kennedy Van der Laan), German (Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz, Gassner Stockmann), Italian (Macchi di Celere & Gangemi) and British (Nabarro Nathanson) law firms, among others.
 
Mr. Debouzy is a specialist in regulatory and product liability law.  He advises corporate clients on a variety of regulatory and liability issues, and handles complex product liability litigation. His clients include telecommunications, financial, tobacco, food, armament, pharmaceutical and information technology corporations and public entities (the French Government -- Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Health --, the Republics of Gabon, Lithuania and Togo, the Kingdom of Morocco and the European Commission and its agencies).
