Chris Jones is an operating partner and independent Board member at Electra Partners Europe. He is a non-executive director of Xenogen, a California-based publicly-quoted biotechnology and equipment company; of FastChannel, a Boston-based technology company; of the EFinancial Group; of De Beers LV, the joint venture between De Beers and LVMH; and of Results Business Consulting. He is also a Senior Adviser to Marakon Associates, an international management consultancy.
He is a member of the Health Advisory Board of the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and a Governor of St Edward’s School and the Dragon School, Oxford.
All these activities followed his retirement in 2001 from J Walter Thompson Worldwide, one of the world’s biggest advertising networks, where he was Chairman and CEO. Chris is a graduate of Cambridge University and lives in Oxford and London.
