The Audit Committee

 

The Trustees delegate to an Audit Committee responsibility for monitoring the charity’s financial control systems, liaising with the Institute’s auditors in connection with the Institute’s Annual Report and Financial Statements, and the mitigation of major risks in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP 2005). The chairman of the Audit Committee is appointed by the Trustees.
