On Tuesday 23rd September 2008 Sunjoy Joshi, IISS Visiting Research Associate & senior expert on oil and gas, will speak on ‘The Dynamics of Energy Security for China and India in a Changing World’ from 12:30-1:30pm at Arundel House.
Mr. Sunjoy Joshi a senior Indian civil servant, with considerable official experience in the Indian oil and gas sector, is a Visiting Research Associate at the IISS. He has been responsible for India’s oil and gas sector as well as the licensing rounds in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, from 2001- 2006. Since leaving the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, he has been keenly following developments in China's and India's energy policies, researching and publishing on these issues.
This meeting will be chaired by Rahul Roy-Chaudhury, Senior Fellow for South Asia, and will take place on the Fourth Floor at Arundel House, 13-15 Arundel Street, Temple Place, London WC2R 3DX.
