On 28-29 May the IISS hosted a special day and half on the 'Israel-Europe Dialogue' in conjunction with the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) of Tel Aviv.
This event pulled together a select group of the top Europe-based academics and policymakers to discuss some of the key geostrategic themes in the Middle East today in an off-the-record setting with a select group of Israeli academics. The emphasis of the session was to particularly touch upon European-Middle Eastern relations, and to nurture some new thinking in this important relationship.
