Manish Tewari speaks on “Electoral Politics in India: Key Issues and Trends”

 

On Wednesday 25 June 2008,  Mr Manish Tewari will speak on “Electoral Politics in India: Key Issues and Trends” from 12:30-1:30 pm.  

 

Mr Manish Tewari is the National Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress which leads the governing coalition in India. He has held important party assignments including Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in charge of Congress affairs in Gujarat. Earlier, he served as the President of the Indian Youth Congress.

 

Mr Tewari is also a well-known lawyer at the Supreme Court in New Delhi, India and writes regularly on political and security issues in the Indian media. With a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a degree in Law from the University of Delhi, he specialises in Corporate Litigation and Taxation.
