On Wednesday 16 July 2008, Andrei Frolov, Associate Fellow, Centre for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST), will speak on "Russian Defence Procurement in 2007 and its Prospects until 2015” from 1-2:30pm.
CAST is the first independent, non-profit think-tank specializing in the analysis of Russian conventional arms trade and trends in defence restructuring in Russia and world-wide. The main goal of CAST is to promote innovative research and to promote transparency. Its founders and researchers represent a new generation of Russian scholars specialising in security policy issues. It publishes the bi-monthly journal “Export Vooruzhenya” (Arms export) and Moscow Defence Brief.
This meeting will be Chaired by James Hackett, Editor of the Militatry Balance and will take place on the Fourth Floor at Arundel House, 13-15 Arundel Street, Temple Place, London WC2R 3DX
