Strategic Survey 2007 Press Launch at the IISS-UK
Strategic Survey 2007 will be launched on Wednesday 12 September 2007 at 10:30am.
Strategic Survey 2007 begins as usual with Perspectives, an assessment of global developments over the past year, followed by three essays on particular strategic policy issues. Six chapters analyse developments in individual countries, grouped by region. Strategic Survey 2007 concludes with Prospectives, which briefly sets out the strategic outlook for the coming year. A chronology is provided in the Events at a Glance section, and new for 2007 are 28 page colour maps, grouped in the Strategic Geography section.

John Chipman, Director of the IISS, will present the highlights and some of the main arguments of the book and comment on recent events. Dr Chipman, Alex Nicoll, Editor of Strategic Survey, and other senior IISS staff members will then take questions for 35-40 minutes.

Fifth Floor conference room at Arundel House (address below).
All guests are requested to take their seats by 10:15am.
If you are bringing a camera crew, please arrive in plenty of time to set up.
