On Wednesday 11 July 2007, The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Government of Pakistan, will be hosting the first Foreign Policy Dialogue on Pakistan to mark the 60th anniversary of Pakistan's independence.
The one-day seminar will take place at the IISS. It will begin at 10am with a keynote address. A team of senior Pakistani officials and experts will participate and make brief presentations in three sessions, along with speakers from the IISS/UK. There will be nearly an hour of discussion following each session. The presentations and the discussion will be on-the-record. The Dialogue will end with a dinner.
The Dialogue will focus on key contemporary issues and Pakistan. The agenda and speakers will be posted shortly.
