16 Aug 2007 - Visit - Japanese Delegation A delegation of senior Japanese officials from five ministries (including the newly restyled Ministry of Defence) visited IISS-Asia on 16 August 2007 under the auspices of the Singapore International Foundation’s Raffles Programme, which aims to foster Japan-Singapore relations.
Discussion Meeting - Kerry Kartchner On Thursday 9 August 2007 Dr Kerry Kartchner, Senior Advisor for Strategic Planning, US State Department Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, will lead a discussion on "U.S. Nuclear Modernisation Plans, Policies and Debates" from 3-4pm.
Discussion Meeting - Prof Peter D. Zimmerman On Thursday 9 August 2007 Professor Peter D. Zimmerman, Professor of Science and Security, Department of War Studies, King's College London, will lead a discussion meeting on "Beyond the Dirty Bomb: Re-thinking Radiological Terror" from 12.30-1.30pm.
