On Tuesday 14 November 2006 Sir Alistair Horne will lead a conversation on "A Savage War of Peace: from Algeria to Iraq and Afghanistan" and its relevance to the on-going conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, in honour of the republishing of his book A Savage War of Peace, Algeria 1954-1962.
The reception will begin at 5.30pm, with the discussion lasting from 6-7pm.
