Discussion meeting - Kevin M. Woods
On Friday 30 June 2006 at 1.30 pm Kevin M. Woods, Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses Joint Advanced Warfighting Program and Project Leader on the Iraqi Perspectives Project, will make a brief presentation of the Project. There will be an opportunity for discussion and comments from the floor after the presentation.

On Monday 26 June 2006 Mikhail Kasyanov, former Russian Prime Minister, will deliver a talk on "Russia's G8 Presidency: Challenges and Opportunites". The talk will begin at 11.00am and afterwards questions and comments will be invited from the floor. The meeting is scheduled to last one and a half hours.

On Wednesday 21 June 2006, Mr Charles A. Stevenson, noted expert and analyst on American security, will discuss his new book on "U.S. Civil-Military Relations Under Stress". Mr Stevenson will discuss the Rumsfeld-Generals clash in historical context. The talk will begin at 2.00pm and there will follow an opportunity for questions and comments from the floor.

On Friday 16 June 2006 Dr Mamoun Fandy, IISS Senior Fellow for Gulf Security, will speak on "Future Trends and Prospects for the Middle East". Tea and coffee will be served from 10am. The Talk will begin at 10:30 am with a Q & A session from 11:15 am. The meeting will conclude at 12 noon.
Discussion meeting - Amb Evan G Galbraith
On Monday 12 June 2006 Ambassador Evan G Galbraith, Secreatary of Defense Representaive, Europe and Defense Advisor, U.S. Mission to NATO will speak on 'A NATO Missile Defense System Against Iran'. For the past five years, Ambassador Evan G Galbraith has served as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's representative in Europe and the defense advisor to the U.S. mission to NATO.
