On Thursday 6 July, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, in cooperation with the Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust, is sponsoring a new forum for widening and deepening understanding about terrorism and Europe. This third session will look at the "Evolving Tactics of Terrorism". The meeting will begin at 3:30pm and finish at 5.30pm.
There will be two speakers who will make brief presentations on aspects of this topic:
Dr Nasra Hassan, Director, United Nations Information Service and Spokesperson, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will speak on 'Suicide Bombing as a Tactic'
Dr Samuel Grier, Dean, NATO Defense College, will talk on 'Prospects for Suicide Bombing Tactics Outside the Middle East'
The meeting will take place at the IISS, Arundel House, 13-15 Arundel Street, WC2R 3DX.
