  • Discussion meeting - Mr Mani Shankar Aiyar On Friday 7 July 2006 the Honourable Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar, Indian Cabinet Minister for Panchayati Raj and Youth Affairs and Sports will speak on 'India, South Asia and Asia in the Quest for Energy Security'.
  • Executive Committee Meeting On Thursday 6 July 2006, the Executive Committee of the IISS will meet. This event will take place at Arundel House, 13-15 Arundel Street, Temple Place, London WC2R 3DX from 10.30am.
  • Terrorism Forum On Thursday 6 July, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, in cooperation with the Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust, is sponsoring a new forum for widening and deepening understanding about terrorism and Europe. This third session will look at the "Evolving Tactics of Terrorism". The meeting will begin at 3:30pm and finish at 5.30pm.
  • Discussion meeting - Kevin M. Woods On Friday 30 June 2006 at 1.30 pm Kevin M. Woods, Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses Joint Advanced Warfighting Program and Project Leader on the Iraqi Perspectives Project, will make a brief presentation of the Project. There will be an opportunity for discussion and comments from the floor after the presentation.
  • Address-HE Mr Sabiluddin Ahmed On Friday 30 June 2006 H.E Mr Sabihuddin Ahmend, High Commissioner for Bangladesh to the UK, will speak on "Bangladesh: Challenges and Opportunities in a Globalised World". The meeting will begin at 12.30 pm and conclude at 1.30pm. The 'Envoys Forum', launched in January 2004, aims to encourage interaction between resident South Asian heads of mission in the UK/Europe and the UK strategic community.   • Address - Dr Adil Abdul Mahdi On Thursday 29 June 2006 Dr Adil Abdul Mahdi, Vice President of Iraq, will speak on "Iraq and Its' Neighbourhood". The talk will begin at 6pm and questions and comments will be invited from the floor. The meeting is scheduled to last for one hour.
