Discussion Meeting - Dr Bassam Tibi On Wednesday 22 November 2006 Dr Bassam Tibi, Professor of International Relations at the University of Goettingen, will lead a discussion on "Islam and the West" from 5.30pm.
Meeting - The Rt Hon David Cameron MP On Wednesday 22 November 2006 the Rt Hon David Cameron MP, Leader of the Opposition, will provide an analysis on "The Security Challenges Facing Britain Today" from 4-5pm.
Address - Tzipi Livni On Monday 20 November 2006 Tzipi Livni, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, will address the IISS on "The Middle East After the War in Lebanon" from 5pm.
Round Table - Jitendra Dhoj Khand On Friday 17 November 2006, Prof Jitendra Dhoj Khand, Departmnet Political Science, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Napal will talk on "The Military and the Maoists in Napal" as part of the IISS South Asia Programme.
Book Launch - Brian Michael Jenkins On Thursday 16 November 2006 Brian Michael Jenkins will launch his new book Where We Stand in Countering Terrorism. The launch will last from10-11am.
Address - Sheikh Dr Mohmed Al-Sabah On Thursday 16 November 2006 Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait, will address the IISS on "Kuwait Foreign Policy in a Changing Environment" from 5-6pm.
