20 May 2005 - Discussion Meeting - Walter Russell Mead

On Friday 20 May 2005 Walter Russell Mead, Henry A. Kissinger Senior Fellow in U.S. Foreign Policy, Council on Foreign Relations, spoke on “The Future of American Foreign Policy”. This event took place between 1.30-2.30pm.
Walter Russell Mead is the Henry A. Kissinger Senior Fellow in U.S. Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a senior contributing editor for Worth and contributing editor for The Los Angeles Times opinion page.  Previously he was president's fellow at the World Policy Institute at The New School and a contributing editor for Harper's Magazine.
 
Mr. Mead won the Lionel Gelber Prize for his book Special Providence: American Foreign Policy and How It Changed the World. The Italian translation won the Premio Acqui Storia awarded to the most important historical book published in Italian. He is also author of Power, Terror, Peace, and War.
Discussion Meetings take place at Arundel House, 13-15 Arundel Street, London WC2R 3DX. This meeting is on the Fifth Floor.
