  • Round Table - Ambassador Wali-ur Rahman On Monday 10 October 2005 Ambassador Wali-ur Rahman, Director of the Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs in Dhaka, Bangladesh, will be leading a discussion on "Rites of Passage: Rise of Religious Extremism in Bangladesh and its Regional Implications". This event will take place between 2-4pm.
  • Round Table - Muhammed Anwar Khan On Friday 30 September 2005 Major General (retd.) Muhammed Anwar Khan, President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), lead a discussion on "Prospects for Kashmir". This event took place between 11am - 12 noon.
  • Discussion Meeting - Mats Berdal On Friday 30 September 2005 Mats Berdal, Professor of Security and Development in the Department of War Studies at Kings College in London, will be speaking on "The UN World Summit: An Assessment". The event will start at 1.30pm.
  • Round Table - Jitendra Nath Misra On Thursday 29 September 2005 Dr. Jitendra Nath Misra, Joint Secretary (International Affairs), Integrated Defence Staff HQ, Ministry of Defence, India will lead a discussion on "India and the U.S.: A Strategic Partnership?" This will take place between 12noon and 1pm.
  • Discussion Meeting - Dennis Gormley On Monday 19 September 2005 Dennis Gormley, Senior Fellow, Monterey Institute Center for Nonproliferation Studies, will be speaking on “A Missile Proliferation Tipping Point: New Dynamics in Missile Offence and Defence”. This event will be held between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
  • 8 Sept 2005 - IISS-Asia Seminar Series - Dr Tim Huxley Tim HuxleyOn Thursday 8 September 2005, Dr Tim Huxley (IISS Senior Fellow for Asia-Pacific Security, Editor of Adelphi Paper, Corresponding Director of IISS-Asia) addressed Members of the Institute on "Modernising Southeast Asia's Armed Forces".
