Main Responsibilities: Becca is the principal contact for US government delegations at IISS conferences, including the Manama Dialogue and the Shangri-La Dialogue. She is the main liaison between the IISS-US and other IISS offices, coordinating programming and research related to the US and the Middle East, organizing US based events and conferences, and is responsible for US-based media relations and outreach to the IISS global membership. Becca’s research focuses on US foreign policy, international security and the Middle East.  

Background: Becca is currently studying for her Masters at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, concentrating on International Relations and Security. She graduated from Brandeis University with a BA, cum laude, in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and received high honors for her senior thesis on an Iraqi insurgent movement. Prior to joining the IISS, Becca worked as a Research Assistant and Schusterman Young Scholar at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy in the Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence.
