The IISS Asia Security Summit
Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Vietnam, opened the 12th Shangri-La Dialogue with a Keynote Address in which he called on the countries of the region to 'build strategic trust' to overcome disputes.

A speech by Chinese General Qi Jianguo kicked off the final day of this year's Shangri-La Dialogue. Delegates also heard from the defence ministers of France, Canada and the Philippines.
