Free Broadcast Footage

The IISS is pleased announce free broadcast quality footage of the Shangri-La Dialogue for media use in the nightly news, internet stories, and other mediums through The NewsMarket.  Select video clips in the floor language will be uploaded immediately before the security summit begins, during the proceedings, and for approximately one month after the conference concludes.

 

In order to download the footage, you must first register at The NewsMarket.  As registration can take 24 hours, we recommend you do this as soon as possible.  More information on The NewsMarket and free registration for their services is available at: www.thenewsmarket.com.

 

Alternatively, you may email sldpress@iiss.org and request to be put on our list for immediate approval.

The 9th IISS Asia Security Summit, the Shangri-La Dialogue, has successfully concluded in Singapore. The Dialogue ran from 4-6 June 2010.

125 5th Plenary Session: Sergei Ivanov, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia

On the final day of the 9th Asia Security Summit: the Shangri-La Dialogue Sergei Ivanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Russia addressed the 5th Plenary Session. Other speakers included Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Minister of Defence, Indonesia, Jaime Ravinet de la Fuente, Minister of Defence, Chile and Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Singapore.
