The 7th IISS Regional Security Summit: The Manama Dialogue ran from 3–5 December 2010 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Keynote Address was given by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan. US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a Special Address on Friday 3 December.

The Keynote Address of the Manama Dialogue 2010 was given by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan on Saturday 4 December.

US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a Special Address on Friday 3 December. In a wide ranging speech she discussed regional security, elections in Iraq, Lebanon and the the Iranian nuclear programme.

Manama Dialogue 2012: Sherpa Meeting

From 10-12 February, The International Institute for Strategic Studies convened the first of two Sherpa meetings in preparation for the 2012 IISS Manama Dialogue, which is scheduled to be held 7-9 December 2012 in Bahrain.

The Sherpa session was held at the IISS-Middle East offices in Manama. Participants included senior officials and military leaders from those states which participate in the annual Manama Dialogue summit. Read more
