19 June 2010 - - NHK 'Asian Voices' - Iraq and Lebanon: The Challenge of Instability Manama, the capital of Bahrain, recently hosted the International Institute for Strategic Studies Bahrain Global Forum. Debate revolved around what kind of growth and stability countries in the Middle East should be aiming for in a difficult economic environment. Located in the Gulf, this city of about 150,000 was host to the International Institute for Strategic Studies Bahrain Global Forum. Discussion took up the role Middle Eastern countries should play in a globalized world economy. Debate revolved around what kind of growth and stability countries should be aiming for in a difficult economic environment.
