Research Analyst, Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Programme
Responsibilities: Research on nuclear and radiological security issues, particularly with a view to the Nuclear Security Summit series. Assisting the Non-proliferation and Disarmament Programme in conducting research/analysis and programme coordination.
Background: Jasper joined IISS in September 2010 under the Stanton Nuclear Security Fellowship programme. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student at King’s College London where he is exploring the role of communication in preventing, preparing for and responding to radiological terrorism. He holds a BSc in Physics and a MA in Science & Security from King’s. In summer 2009, Jasper completed an internship at the Verification Research, Training and Information Centre (VERTIC).
