Research Analyst and Programme Coordinator

 

Responsibilities:  Managing the paradiplomatic conferences associated with the IISS project ‘Building a Common Approach to the Iranian Nuclear Problem’, jointly directed by Dr Dana Allin and Mark Fitzpatrick. Assisting Dr Allin and Mr Fitzpatrick with their research programmes on transatlantic relations and non-proliferation respectively.

 

Background:   Ben Rhode's research has focused on the nuclear black market, the Iranian and North Korean nuclear programmes and Gulf security issues. He previously worked for the International Centre for Security Analysis at King's College, London. He graduated from the University of Oxford with First Class Honours in Modern History, and received an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
