Responsibilities: Managing the IISS project on India and nuclear security under the South Asia Programme; Coordinating the annual IISS South Asia Security Conference in Oman; Contributing to the Programme’s research, analysis and outreach efforts on political-strategic, defence, military and security issues.


Background: Antoine holds an MScEcon in International Politics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (UK). In France, he read history and political science at the Universities of Rennes II and Rennes I respectively. From September–December 2009, he was a Visiting International Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) in New Delhi. Earlier, before joining the IISS South Asia Programme, he worked with the IISS Military Balance and Armed Conflict Database. He also worked for a non-profit diplomatic consultancy in London and at the research centre of a major French energy company. His research interests include nuclear policymaking and related issues in South Asia.
