Director of Finance and Administration
Responsibilities:

Preparation and filing of annual financial reports and regulatory returns across all IISS companies.

Overall management and supervision of the Accounts Department, including financial support to the Singapore and Washington offices.

Responsibility for the implementation of any new accounting systems, controls and procedures.

Preparing monthly management accounting information for senior management.

Drafting annual budgets across all IISS companies and departments.

Assisting research staff in submitting grant proposals and providing adhoc financial information when requested.

Providing support to the membership administration function.
Background: Sally spent 5 years as the senior accountant at ArmorGroup International plc (now part of G4S), a company which provides security, training and risk management services worldwide. During this time, she was heavily involved when the company listed on the London Stock Exchange and more recently the implementation of a new accounting system. Prior to ArmorGroup, Sally worked as an auditor for Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in September 2002. She graduated from Reading University with a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics in 1999.
