Administrator for Defence Analysis and Events
Responsibilities: Administrator for the Defence Analysis Department and Events. Clara collates information from embassies and defence ministries as part of the editorial process of The Military Balance, and assists the Editor with research and administrative duties. She is administrator for the Director of Editorial.
Clara also organises many events at Arundel House, working closely with the Membership Department.
Background: Prior to joining the IISS, Clara Lane-Spollen worked for the Conservative Party and also completed work experience at the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit. She holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Durham.
