On 15 November 2007, IISS-Asia held a lunch time reception to inaugurate the opening of its new office at #53-02 Republic Plaza, Singapore.
The event was attended by thirty guests which included ambassadors and high commissioners from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Vietnam, as well as attaches from China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russia, United Kingdom and United States. Long-time IISS members, sponsors, media and local government representatives were also on hand to help celebrate the opening of the new premise.
