INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT IISS-ASIA
The International Institute for Strategic Studies - Asia is seeking a part-time intern to provide operational support in its office in Singapore for two months from November to December 2009.
The intern will report to IISS-Asia three times a week, for a duration of at least four hours each time. Through IISS-Asia, he/she can expect to gain direct exposure to the work and management of a leading international think-tank.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
Requirements:
- an undergraduate/graduate student in Political Science, International Relations, Strategic Studies or History
- possess a good command of spoken and written English
- proficient in basic computer skills such as MSword, Excel, Access and capable of performing internet searches
- be eligible to work in Singapore; IISS-Asia regrets that it is unable to assist with the procurement of visas or entry permits for a prospective intern

- two letters of reference, including at least one from an academic faculty member
