On 2 November 2004 Captain Richard M. McMillan RAN, Director, Sea Power Centre, Canberra, Australia, and Dr David Stevens, Head of the Navy History Section of the Sea Power Centre, visited the IISS. They were briefed by Colonel Christopher Langton, IISS Head of Defence Analysis Department, Editor of the Military Balance, and Research Fellow for Russia/CIS, Commander Rodney Craig, IISS Defence Analyst (Navy), Dr Tim Huxley, IISS Senior Fellow for Asia-Pacific Security and Editor of the Adelphi Papers, and Mr Rahul Roy-Chaudhury, IISS Research Fellow for South Asia.
