On 21-22 November 2003, Gary Samore, IISS Director of Studies and Senior Fellow for Non-proliferation, co-hosted a workshop with Henry Sokolski, Director of the Washington D.C.-based Non Proliferation Policy Education Center, to discuss proposals for strengthening non-proliferation efforts, such as the Proliferation Security Initiative. Experts and officials from the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, and the IAEA attended the meeting.
